"WISHING 4" IS HERE!

I, Idiosyncratic Mushroom, have to say that this has been one of the hardest albums I've had to make, curate, etc, in a while. There was supposed to be so much more before this - what ever really happened to Baked By The Sun or If You Were Scared of Nothing? I don't know, honestly, sometimes online distributors suck.

But lets not focus on that, and, instead, focus on the new arrival! On this record, I explore styles of music I've always wanted to perform but never really knew how to handle - house, jungle, dnb, hyperpop, noise, etc. I'd attempted it somewhat in previous, such as with the cxscape EP, but never had I done so seriously - until now!

It took a lot of work, and several new pieces of equipment, including my beloved Elektron Monomachine and Xfer's Serum plugin (sound familiar to any SOPHIE fans??), to get this to sound the way it does, and I'm very proud of it!

This isn't the end of the road for this exploratory era of the Mushverse, as it may be called by nobody in particular, and more experimentation is to come. In fact, the coming experimentation may even be hinted at within these tracks, you'll only notice if you listen to them all

Anyway, thank y'all so much for putting up with the lack of content of main seriousness, especially on streaming services as, according to them, my last release was over a year ago. But, alas, I've fought through and present you this piece of music.
